Backbone opened in 2005, spending 20 years as one of the most prominent BMX stores in the world.
Selling bikes was the business, but getting individuals stoked on the lifestyle is our passion… Building the scene.
This has led to a worldwide crew repping Backbone through our clothing; because they also believe in the importance of building the scene, and being the “Backbone” of their own community.
I decided to go all in on Backbone BMX as a brand at the start of 2025.
There’s enough people selling bikes. I want to focus on what it is that makes the Backbone lifestyle so cool. The real experiences, the sick vibes and the memories that are created through
the “anti-mainstream” culture that it provides.
A brand for every day badasses, who are doing things with Backbone....
Whether it is riding, working hard, or getting themselves and those around them stoked.
