What an awesome experience it has been running the Roast The Coast BMX jam series.
To see riders coming together from different parts of the country has been a real treat.
Stop 3 at Caloundra skatepark was no different, we had a bunch of the Sunny Coast crew there having a good time, as well as Australian BMX legends like Drew "Claw" Balshaw and Luke Fink (who is now a Drift car sensation) grace us with their time at the jam.
Caloundra skatepark is truly one of the great skateparks, something for every skill level and the chance to roast is definitely there.
There's always a different crew at each stop, with the die-hard legends that have been making it to multiple locations.
Do not deny yourself the chance to plan a trip in the name of BMX!
The next Roast The Coast Stop is in Hervey Bay, September 20.... What are you waiting for?
Big thanks to the sponsors in helping to make the Caloundra stop happen:
Vans
Sodii Hydration
Caloundra RSL
Wethepeople BMX
Drover Projects
Blue Groove BMX.
And to the people who show up, the biggest thanks is reserved for you... Appreciate you!

Jack Cronin is from Bundaberg and has come to the last two Roast The Coast jams. I met Jack last year when I moved and he has been rapidly getting better (and he was good when I met him!) Big table in the pocket.
Josh Fountain is such a rad dude, incredibly positive AND RIPS on a BMX. I couldn't event tell you the amount of tricks he did at Caloundra I couldn't name; let alone the amount in total. This one though, was very Taj inspired. Cherokee air.
Noah Green rides for Backbone BMX for many reasons. One is, he is such a nice kid and is always down to support the Australian BMX scene with his presence. Two is, he goes faster, higher and probably has more tricks, than most. No foot can can over the hip.
Kaz Campbell is a straight up badass. There's a weird mix of style, power, and effort and casual-ness, that few get right. Kaz is one of those special few that get it right. Huge air out of the 9ft.
I met Jack Le Page at ACT JAM 2024, he was shredding the streets on the final day. I thought he was just a street rider - but turns out, he kills it in the bowl too. Caloundra local ripping.
Jono Short is another QLDer who I have had the pleasure of getting to know this past year. Jono has a lot of ingredients that make up his BMX cake... But these Jason Enns-esque inverts are the icing on it for sure.
Noah Green with more of that faster, higher BMX riding I spoke about. Huge nac'ed out one foot table.
