BMX Workshop Repairs Bundaberg
If you live in the Bundaberg region, we can arrange your BMX bike to be picked up and dropped off to you by appointment.
Even though Backbone BMX functions as a BMX clothing brand, since moving to Bundy I've had a lot of riders reach out for repairs as it's hard to get BMX bikes serviced or repaired.
(This is actually the reason why Backbone BMX started back in 2005).
I want to help out the community by providing an option for good repairs for BMX riders.
Something I did when we were a BMX shop for 20 years.
Small parts, spokes in BMX lengths and accessories available and can supply parts if required.

Full Services
Standard BMX service - $90
Catering for those riders who want their bike to be running smooth again.
- Check and tighten all bolts
- Adjust brake pads, brake springs and tighten brake cables (non disc brake)
- Tighten and straighten spokes (true wheels) on stand
- Cranks removed, regreased and re-installed
- Lubricate chain and cables
- Headset parts removed, checked, re-greased and re-installed
- Tyres inflated
- Small parts, if needed, installed
Premium BMX service - $150
Includes..
- Standard service, plus:
- Hub service: bearing removal and regrease
- Bottom bracket bearing regrease
- Adjusting of chain tight/loose spots
Disc brake BMX service - $150
This option is required for those who have a BMX bike with disc brakes.Includes..
- Standard service, plus full brake bleed
Braking
- Full brake setup with straight cable - $50
- Full brake setup with gyro - $70
- Replace cable - $25
- Brake adjustment - $20
- Brake bleed $60
Drivetrain
- Install cranks with BB in frame - $30
- Install cranks with new BB - $40
- Install new BB - $40
- Install chain - $15
- Install sprocket - $30
Steering
- Install internal headset - $30
- Install external headset - $50
- Cut fork steerer - $40
- Fit handlebars - $20
- Fit stem - $20

Wheels/Tyres
- Fix flat (tube cost extra if not supplied) - $20
- Hub service - $40* (*depends on what is needed)
- Wheel true - $25 - $40 (depends how bad it is!)
- Wheel build - $70 (carbon/deep cavity/48h rims extra cost)
Bike Builds
- Complete bike from box - $100
Includes greasing components (complete bikes in boxes are generally not greased)
- Custom build, parts supplied - $150+ (POA)
This depends on whether we are building up wheels, disc brakes, etc.
