BACK BONE ZONE PODCAST

Join Back Bone BMX co-owner Tyson Jones-Peni on the Back Bone Zone, our very own BMX podcast.

I am attempting to delve deeper into topics that may not typically be addressed in regular BMX podcasts. There are so many things that I think about that relates to the world of BMX, that might not be about BMX directly.

By bringing you regular solo podcast episodes and thinking through them on the fly, I can begin to explore topics that might otherwise be overlooked.

With an emphasis on Australian BMX content, I will always try to dive deeper into the awesome world of BMX.
I hope you enjoy the podcast. - Tyson

Jason Watts gives insight to being a pro BMX rider, company owner and BMX brand team manager.

Episode 47: Jason Watts has been riding for Backbone for 10 years and has been a paid professional BMX rider for the same length time. His riding speaks volumes, but he is also deeply involved with the BMX industry, being team manager for Volume and Demolition, co-founding Fast and Loose BMX, as well as building skateparks across the world for BMX events through his ramp building company Universal Ramps.

I got to sit down and pick his brain on all the things he has been up to, what he thinks it takes to be a sponsored BMX rider in 2024 and the state of the BMX industry.

I always love speaking with Jason about everything and I know you'll enjoy this episode.
