The second annual Vikings ACT/NSW Championships for Freestyle BMX is on!

Make sure you get to Tuggeranong skatepark February 2nd 2025 so you have a chance at becoming state champion.

This is the Olympic pathway, so if you're looking to add to your freestyle 'resume', becoming state champion is the place to start.

Run by FACT BMX Club in conjunction with AusCycling.

08:00 - 17:00: Event timing

09:00 - 10:00: Event Registration

08:30 - 09:00: Practice Session (Amateur)

09:00 - 10:00: Practice Session (Elite)

10:30 - 11:00: Practice Session (Juniors U7 & U11)

11:00 - 12:00: U7 & U11 Competition

12:00 - 12:30: Practice Session (Juniors U13 & U15)

12:30 - 13:30: U13 & U15 Competition

13:30 - 14:00: Amateur Competition

14:00 - 15:00: Elite Competition

15:00: Presentations

Each Category of the event will have a set number of Rounds of Competition.

Each Round of Competition will follow the same format:

Riders given 2 x 1min Runs on the course.
A run is determined by the judges confirming the rider is ready to start, the clock starts when they drop in.
A buzzer will sound at the end of 1min. Any tricks not completed within this time will NOT count to the score.
Only your best run will count for your final score / placing.
