PRODUCT INFO

One of the most revered carbon BMX racing frames on the market.

The Speedco Velox V3 Carbon Fiber race frames are a thing of beauty.

Using the highest quality T700 Toray carbon fiber, the Speedco Velox frame has maximum rigidity and strength, while keeping it one of the lightest BMX race frames on the market at only 1.21kg (Pro XL).

SPEEDCO VELOX V3 YOUTH (Junior - Expert XL) FRAME FEATURES:

  • Head Tube: The youth frames use a standard 1 1/8" integrated head-tube to accommodate 1 1/8” or 1” steerer fork to keep the front end as light as possible.
  • Bottom Bracket: 68mm euro BB shell
  • Tapered down-tube: Junior size tapers to 50mm at the BB junction, while the Expert and Expert XL taper to 65mm for a smooth and lightweight look.
  • Dropouts: 10mm drop-out
  • Internal Cable: The brake cable is internally routed for an extra clean look, there is a small tube that runs through the top-tube so you don’t have to fish your cable through the frame. You won’t need to split your cable either, just slide it in with the full housing and you’re good to go

SPEEDCO VELOX V3 PRO FRAME FEATURES:

  • Bottom Bracket: BB86, which is a 86mm BB shell and press-fit bearings that equal 4mm added to the 86mm shell (92mm total) while using a 24mm spindle. The advantage to the BB86 is the wider down-tube and chain-stay junction providing more rigidity for gates and accelerating out of turns.
  • 10/15/20mm Dropout: The dropout on the Velox uses an integrated chain tensioner and two flex-free 4mm adapters to ensure your wheel isn’t going to move, and is compatible with 10, 15 or 20mm axles. The frames come with dropout adaptors for 10, 15 or 20mm axles.
  • Tapered Head Tube: A tapered head tube uses a 1-1/8” top bearing and a 1.5” bottom bearing and allows you to use a fork both lighter and stronger than ever before
  • Optional disk brake adaptor: Disk brake adaptors are available for 10mm axles on the youth frames and for 10mm, 15mm and 20mm axles on the pro frames. They are designed to use a 120mm disk.

Note: You probably already know this, but we recommend you use this for BMX racing only.
